Who was Connor

Connor was a Latin and Ballroom dancer who began his dance career at the age of 8 in Seattle, WA. He continued to pursue his dancing through the years with numerous accomplishments and awards which included National Titles and, Junior Olympic Gold medals in Dancesport. Connor’s life was tragically cut short in September, 2013 at the young age of 21. Dance was his passion.

Connor’s long term plans included fundraising to help others with their dance expenses and, he wanted to introduce Ballroom dancing to youth, those with disabilities, and high risk. His compassion for those with special needs was close to his heart as a person who suffered from epilepsy. At the end of day he said dance was what centered him and what he loved. He wanted to share that love with others.

The CBZ Foundation was formed as a legacy to continue his dance dreams by helping others pursue theirs.
